What is an SSL certificate?

SSL is a security certificate. The certificate secures the connection between the site and the web browser that our customers use to access the site. An SSL certificate encrypts information when a user enters any data on our site, it can be a bank card number or a name and address in an online form. On sites that do not use such certificates, the data is displayed in plain text, which scammers can intercept and use for their own purposes. If a scammer intercepts the encrypted data, he will be shown strings of random numbers and letters, thus eliminating any tampering options.

What does this mean for our clients?
